Our History ... Maureen Simmons grew up surrounded by an array of tabletop appointments. Entertaining was as much a part of the family lifestyle as was eating breakfast on a weekday morning. So deciding to open a tabletop and gift store that specialized in table settings and creative ideas was a natural for her after she completed her Masters Degree in Business Administration.

"What will I name my business?" became her focus for several months as she found a location for the store and scanned the markets for the perfect mixture of eclectic products. The Mulbray Gift House in York, England was one of her favorite stores to visit. Since her great-grandparents were from England and Germany, The Mulbray Gift Haus seemed a perfect choice. Today it is considered one of the most interesting and innovative gift and tabletop stores in the South.

The Mulbray Gift Haus maintains the highest of ethical and professional standards. Every sales consultant has earned the title, "Registered Bridal Consultant" from the National Bridal Service, a company renowned for its training.
